What are the dates and hours of operation?
|
The market will operate on Saturdays from 8:00 am till noon and on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm till 6:00 pm. This year's opening will be May 2, 2009 and the last day will be November 14, 2009. The market will be held rain or shine!

What can be sold?
|
Vegetables, fruits, flowers, nuts, berries, seedlings, sprouts, bulbs, eggs, meats, plants, honey, baked goods, jams, jellies, sauces, products grown or produced by memeber, compost, worms or castings, wildcraftings, and wool.

What does it cost to become a member?
|
There is a $20 annual membership application fee and $5 each day a vendor sets up to sell. You must be a member in good standing in order to sell at our market.

Who can sell?
|
The local sellers (vendors) are the persons who actually produce the fruits, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, eggs, baked goods, jellies, jams, honey or other approved products that they intend to sell.

What do you mean by local vendors?
|
Participating vendors must be in the local region, specifically Walker, Dade, Catoosa, Whitfield, Gordon, Chattooga and Floyd counties in Georgia; Jackson and Dekalb counties in Alabama; and Hamilton county in Tennessee.
