What are the dates and hours of operation?

The market will operate on Saturdays from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon and Wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  This years opening will be May 3, 2008, closing will be in or about November 2008, weather permitting. The market will be held rain or shine!

 

What do you mean by local vendors?

Participating vendors must be in the local region, specifically Walker, Dade, Catoosa, Whitfield, Gordon, Chattooga and Floyd counties in Georgia; Jackson and Dekalb counties in Alabama; and Hamilton county in Tennessee.

Who can sell?

The sellers (vendors) are the persons who actually produce the fruits, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, eggs, baked goods, jellies, jams, honey or other approved products that they intend to sell.

What can be sold?

Vegetables, fruits, flowers, nuts, berries, seedlings, sprouts, bulbs, eggs, meats (orders taken), plants, honey, baked goods, jams, jellies, sauces, products grown or produced by member, compost, worms or castings, wildcraftings, wool.

All items must be produced by local vendors!

What does it cost to become a member?

There is a $20 yearly application fee and the weekly vendor fee is $5.
